Job summary

Motion Industries in Kingsport, TN is seeking an Account Representative I to grow their book of business by converting competitors' accounts and expanding medium-sized accounts into large ones. You will build strong customer relationships through frequent contact and accurate expectation management.

Responsibilities include generating new leads, presenting solutions, coordinating vendor resources, and delivering effective quotes while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 0–2 years of experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of industrial products such as power transmission, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to influence customers.

Responsibilities

• Increases revenue through new business and expanding existing accounts.
• Generates new leads via networking, cold calling, and research.
• Interacts with customers face-to-face to foster relationships and satisfaction.
• Understands customer requirements for customized quotes.
• Delivers effective sales presentations and ensures technical requirements are met.
• Assists with on-site troubleshooting of customer concerns.
• Coordinates vendor resources to support sales.
