Job summary

US Paper Mill Company, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Safety and Training Specialist to oversee daily safety operations, lead training initiatives, and ensure compliance across our manufacturing facility.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of Safety and Training experience, fluency with LMS platforms (including Paycom), and the ability to author SOPs, manage incident investigations, and coach Supervisors on safety practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college education in Safety/Health preferred.
• Certified or able to obtain training certification for power industrial trucks, aerial lifts, cranes.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in safety and training.

Responsibilities

• Engage in employee safety conversations and lead toolbox talks.
• Coordinate monthly safety presentations and safety alerts.
• Support PPE stock management and routine inspections.
• Author, revise and mentor SOPs and training checklists.
• Manage safety training data and contribute to incident investigations.
• Conduct daily floor tours and track action items.
