Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Industrial Safety or related field preferred; Associate degree acceptable.
3–5 years of industrial safety experience preferred but not required.
Working knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations, and exposure monitoring protocols.

Responsibilities

Implement an EHS Management System (EHSMS) and lead risk assessment initiatives.
Ensure employees are trained and performing work activities safely.
Conduct regular plant inspections and monitor safety performance to reduce incidents.
Directly supervise 9 hourly employees in hygiene/laundry operations.
Identify, communicate, and track daily safety topics and toolbox talks.
Promote teamwork and continuous safety improvement across the facility.
Maintain strong documentation and reporting using Word, Excel, and databases.
