Job summary

Banda Group International (BGI) is seeking an experienced EHS Manager based in Muncie, Indiana to oversee environmental, health, and safety programs for a major energy project. The role requires hands-on safety leadership, site walks, and collaboration with site leadership, contractors, and visitors to ensure compliance with EHS standards and client requirements.

The position emphasizes a proactive safety culture, incident investigations, training, and performance measurement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of direct, full‑time EHS experience.
• Experience leading and developing others (3+ years).
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 70E, OSHA electrical safety, LOTO and related programs.
• Ability to travel 80–100% within North America.

Responsibilities

• Identify site safety risks through field walks and tower climbs.
• Provide safety coaching to employees, contractors, and site leadership.
• Ensure compliance with EHS policies and project requirements.
• Develop and implement risk-reduction strategies and emergency plans.
• Maintain EHS documentation and report metrics.
