Venteon is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead our client’s manufacturing site in Warsaw, Indiana, building and scaling EHS systems from the ground up and ensuring regulatory compliance across all operations.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong breadth of EHSS knowledge, lead enterprise-wide training initiatives, and drive continuous improvement in safety, health, and environmental practices at all levels of the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field is required.
  • 12 years EHSS experience preferred.
  • Industry certifications (CSP, CHMM, OSHA Outreach Trainer) are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage comprehensive EHS programs that comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and implement corrective actions to mitigate identified risks.
  • Develop and deliver EHS training programs to employees at all levels, ensuring awareness and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Lead investigations into EHS incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Ensure all operations comply with environmental, health, and safety regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and other relevant standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in EHS practices, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to EHS activities, incidents, and compliance.
  • Work closely with operations, maintenance, security, and other departments to integrate EHS considerations into all aspects of manufacturing processes.
  • Oversee occupational health clinic operations ensuring all company employees receive the highest quality of care across plant operations.
  • Provide clean and effective reporting on EHS Performance across operations and ensure integration of key leading metrics within responsible departments.

Venteon is currently seeking an experienced EHS Manager to fill an opening with a manufacturing company located in Warsaw, Indiana. The ideal candidates should have a strong breadth of EHS knowledge, including experience building EHS Systems from the ground up.

Requirements of the EHS Manager
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Education, Instructional Design, or a related field is required. Advanced degree is preferred.
  • 12 years in EHSS experience
