Austin Industrial is seeking a QA/QC Inspector to ensure welding work is safe and compliant across industrial project sites in the United States. You will review welding methods (MIG, TIG, arc, laser, butt) and oversee NDE activities, hydrostatic testing, and safety compliance with client specifications and applicable codes.

The role requires reading weld maps, coordinating with QA personnel, supervising welders, and supporting project teams to maintain quality, safety, and productivity on site.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred.
• 8 years' experience in an Industrial setting preferred.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsabilités

• Daily Construction Surveillance at project sites.
• Perform daily inspections focusing on welding, structural, and civil work.
• Coordinate Non-Destructive Examinations (NDE) when needed.
• Witness hydrostatic testing of welded piping or vessels.
• Collaborate with client QA teams to address quality concerns.
