Job summary

Crawford Thomas Recruiting is seeking a Technical Outside Sales Representative for the Windsor-London territory. This field-based role focuses on new business development, territory management, and technical solution selling of industrial pumps and fluid-handling equipment.

The ideal candidate has proven outside sales success in industrial equipment, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to travel within the territory.

Qualifications

• Outside sales experience in industrial pumps, fluid-handling equipment, or related products.
• Ability to understand applications and recommend technical solutions.
• Experience selling to plants, municipalities, OEMs, or industrial facilities.
• Proven success in developing new business through prospecting and networking.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business while managing and expanding existing customer accounts throughout the territory.
• Prospect through cold calling, networking, referrals, field visits, and relationship development.
• Build relationships with manufacturing plants, municipalities, OEMs, engineering firms, contractors, and industrial facilities.
• Evaluate customer applications and recommend industrial pumps, fluid-handling equipment, and engineered process solutions.
• Conduct on-site customer visits, presentations, and product demonstrations.
• Prepare quotes, pricing, proposals, and technical equipment recommendations.
• Manage opportunities throughout the complete sales cycle, from initial prospecting through close.
• Partner with internal teams to provide technical support and exceptional customer service.
• Identify opportunities for account growth and long-term partnership development.
• Stay current on industry trends, products, applications, and competitive solutions.
• Consistently achieve or exceed territory sales and business-development goals.
• Independently manage sales activity, scheduling, and customer relationships across the Windsor-London territory.
