Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in industrial mechanical assembly or pump repair.
• Experience with large components and heavy assemblies.
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Skilled with precision measurement and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble pumps and rotating equipment.
• Read engineering drawings, assembly prints, and work instructions.
• Operate overhead cranes and rigging to move large components.
• Perform mechanical assembly of bearings, shafts, seals, housings, impellers.
• Use calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators for inspections.
• Troubleshoot failures and identify worn/damaged parts for repair.
• Conduct pressure and functional tests and document results.
• Maintain repair records and follow safety procedures.
