Flowserve US Inc in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Precision Assembler to disassemble, repair, and assemble a range of equipment including rotating pumps and nuclear pump components. You will follow work instructions, use inspection tools, and prepare assemblies for shipment.

The role requires documenting wear, performing testing when required, reading engineering prints, and contributing to continuous improvement while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Formación

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of five years of relevant manufacturing, assembly, or repair experience.
• Experience with Nuclear Safety-Related pumps preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Responsabilidades

• Follow routers, procedures, and Flowserve best practices.
• Inspect, repair, and assemble components and equipment with accurate documentation.
• Interface with Supervisors, Planners, Engineering, and Quality Inspectors to review critical components.
• Inspect components for fits and runouts and document findings on forms.
• Safely use hand and power tools, and heat sources during assembly/disassembly.
• Balance rotating components using balancing equipment.
• Conduct hydrostatic testing when required.
• Read measuring instruments like micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, and gauges.
• Manage multiple tasks within manufacturing timelines.
• Communicate issues clearly to peers and supervisors.
• Paint, tag, and package equipment for shipment.
• Operate cranes, lifting devices, and forklifts.
• Participate in continuous improvement and tool development initiatives.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow Stop Work Authority when needed.
• Read and interpret engineering prints and work instructions.
• Use MS Office and basic computer systems.
