Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of five years of relevant manufacturing, assembly, or repair experience.
• Experience with Nuclear Safety-Related pumps preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Follow routers, procedures, and Flowserve best practices.
• Inspect, repair, and assemble components and equipment with accurate documentation.
• Interface with Supervisors, Planners, Engineering, and Quality Inspectors to review critical components.
• Inspect components for fits and runouts and document findings on forms.
• Safely use hand and power tools, and heat sources during assembly/disassembly.
• Balance rotating components using balancing equipment.
• Conduct hydrostatic testing when required.
• Read measuring instruments like micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, and gauges.
• Manage multiple tasks within manufacturing timelines.
• Communicate issues clearly to peers and supervisors.
• Paint, tag, and package equipment for shipment.
• Operate cranes, lifting devices, and forklifts.
• Participate in continuous improvement and tool development initiatives.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow Stop Work Authority when needed.
• Read and interpret engineering prints and work instructions.
• Use MS Office and basic computer systems.
