Job summary

Flowserve is seeking a Customer Product Repair Mechanic to disassemble, repair, and assemble rotating equipment including high-energy actuators, pumps, and decoking gear. You will follow work instructions, inspect components with precision tools, and document wear and condition for quotes.

You will work with service coordinators and customers, operate balance machines, perform pressure tests, and ensure all safety and quality procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma / GED and 3–5 years relevant experience.
• Ability to read and interpret prints, shop drawings, and assembly checklists.
• Experience with precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators).
• Must own SAE hand tools and a roll-around toolbox.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, repair, and assemble rotating equipment and components per work instructions.
• Take pictures of the DCI and assembly processes and document wear.
• Ensure all forms and documentation are complete prior to quotation submission.
• Inspect components with precision measuring instruments and document wear.
• Operate balance machine and perform low/high pressure tests as required.
• Coordinate with service coordinator, planners, engineers, and customers as necessary.
• Follow routers and assembly procedures and maintain safe work practices.
