Job summary

Flowserve US Inc in Pasadena is seeking a Rotating Equipment / Repair Mechanic to own the DCI lifecycle for heavy industrial pumps and actuators. You will teardown, clean, and inspect critical components, and work with engineers to map out repair plans.

The role requires 3–5+ years of hands-on experience, blueprint reading, and owning precise measurement tools. A 50‑lb lifting capacity and overtime readiness are expected. Flowserve offers competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of hands-on overhaul experience with heavy industrial rotating equipment.
• Fluency in reading mechanical blueprints, drawings, and data packages.
• Own a complete personal set of SAE hand tools and basic precision instruments.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and flexible for overtime/weekend turns.

Responsibilities

• Execute full overhauls: teardown, clean, and inspect high-energy pumps and BB1‑BB5 layouts.
• Perform precision measurement and testing; document findings on evaluation sheets.
• Use torches, heating tools, and LN2 for interference fits; balance and test seals.
• Collaborate with engineers and operations to plan repairs and minimize downtime.
