Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Detroit, MI is seeking an Associate Property Manager to support daily operations of an Industrial portfolio. You will act as an administrative leader, overseen by the Property Manager or General Manager, and collaborate with tenants, vendors and engineers to draft vital financial reports.

This role offers a strong learning path toward leadership in Property Management, with on-site duties and travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Communications, or related field
• Real Estate license required within 6 months of hire date
• 1–2 years of property management experience with demonstrated success in tenant or resident relations
• 1–2 years of experience in budgeting, invoicing and financial reporting
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Travel to client sites regularly, with typical travel averaging 75% of work time

Responsibilities

• Facilitate communication between tenants and management team, addressing inquiries and coordinating service requests in a timely manner
• Support financial management activities including invoice processing, budget tracking, and preparation of monthly operating reports
• Coordinate and conduct vendor walk-throughs to assess project scope, review site requirements, and ensure alignment with specifications
• Perform regular site inspections to monitor property conditions, identify maintenance needs, and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
• Prepare and execute service contracts, ensuring all terms, pricing, and scope details are accurately documented and approved
• Oversee project execution from initiation through completion, tracking progress, managing timelines, and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards
• Assist with lease administration tasks including document preparation, tenant move-in coordination, and file management
• Help facilitate tenant events and building communications to enhance community engagement and satisfaction
• Maintain detailed records of vendor interactions, site observations, and project milestones to support operational reporting and accountability
• All other tasks which may be required to comply with Property Management Agreements, local ordinances, or as necessary to ensure property operations
