Job summary

Plastek Werks, Inc. in the United States seeks a seasoned Consultative Business Development professional to identify and secure new B2B accounts across chemical processing, semiconductor, medical, aerospace, and heavy manufacturing.

You will review client blueprints, advise on plastics materials and fabrication methods, and collaborate on cost models and technical proposals. Travel regionally to client sites for consultations and reviews.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of proven success in B2B technical sales in plastic welding and fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and industrial schematics.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field preferred; equivalent technical sales experience accepted.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new B2B accounts across target sectors.
• Review client blueprints, CAD files, and engineering specifications to recommend materials and fabrication methods.
• Collaborate with estimators and engineering to generate accurate project cost models and proposals.
• Maintain relationships with procurement managers, design engineers, and plant operations staff to secure repeat business.
