Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 3+ years of metals or similar manufacturing/industrial sales experience.
• Experience working with inside sales is a plus.
• Creative and complex thinking to solve customer needs.
• Must be able to travel and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Builds relationships with customer contacts at all levels, especially purchasing decision-makers.
• Keeps customers informed about industry trends and Ryerson's capabilities.
• Provides market intelligence to sales management to shape strategies and pricing.
• Increase revenue from assigned customers by expanding product lines and converting general line to fabrication sales.
• Engages service center, regional, Global Accounts, and supplier reps to maintain relationships across levels.
• Performs other duties as assigned or as needed.
