Graybar Electric Company is seeking an Outside Sales Representative in Colorado Springs, CO. You will develop new prospects, maintain relationships with existing customers, and regularly visit their sites or off-site locations to promote products and services.

Responsibilities include meeting gross margin budgets, handling customer issues, and reporting market conditions. Significant travel is required; a 3+ year industry background and a 4-year degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years industry-specific experience
• 4+ years experience preferred
• 4 year degree preferred
• Knowledge of business administration, sales, and marketing
• Strong negotiation skills
• Ability to learn the business and work independently to achieve goals
• Ability to sell and be persuasive
• Extensive travel required

Responsabilités

• Meet or exceed the assigned annual gross margin budget by promoting and selling products in the assigned territory
• Handle customer complaints promptly and report potential claims
• Keep management informed of local competition and market conditions
• Carry out sales and merchandise programs as directed and recommend new items for stock
• Maintain current customer records, files, and reports of business transactions; assist in collection of past due accounts
• Participate in training sessions, trade shows, and sales meetings
• Demonstrate products after sale when necessary
