Job summary

Dakota Supply Group is seeking an Industrial Outside Sales Account Manager for the Bismarck/Dickinson, ND area. You will actively promote DSG products and services to contractors and industrial accounts, building strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.

A typical day includes travel, coordinating with Inside Sales, pursuing new opportunities, and promoting new products while maintaining high service levels and efficient order processing.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; postsecondary degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• 2+ years of college/technical school or 3-5 years field experience in industrial products.
• Strong sales skills with a proven territory development track record.
• 3-5 years of sales experience.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Understanding of electrical software for designs/rebates.
• Familiarity with DSG Web Commerce and usage instructions.

Responsibilities

• Travel up to 125 miles of the branch to build and maintain relationships and accounts.
• Collaborate with Inside Sales to drive territory growth and customer satisfaction.
• Seek and develop new customer opportunities and accounts.
• Promote and demonstrate new products and marketing programs.
• Coordinate with Branch Manager on product demand changes and orders.
