Job summary
CMC seeks an experienced electrical maintenance professional for our industrial steel production facility. You will diagnose and repair power distribution, control systems, motors, and drives, while leading routine testing and maintenance tasks.
Strong troubleshooting skills with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs and related equipment are essential, with a focus on safety and reliability. Minimum 2 years of electrical maintenance experience is preferred, along with CMMS experience and grounding system knowledge.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years electrical maintenance experience preferred.
- CMMS experience preferred.
- PLC troubleshooting experience preferred.
- Grounding systems and maintenance knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot medium/high voltage equipment in an industrial steel facility.
- Diagnose power irregularities and substation problems.
- Install, monitor, inspect, and maintain electrical and control systems.
- Lead annual testing and inspection requirements.
- Maintain electromechanical starters, motors, VFDs, PLCs, HMIs.
