Job summary

CMC is seeking an experienced industrial maintenance professional to support electrical and mechanical systems across our steel and construction reinforcement operations. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment, PLC networks, and automation, while collaborating with production teams to optimize performance.

The role requires hands-on skills, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Must have experience with electrical and mechanical maintenance principles and troubleshooting.
• Experience reading electrical schematics and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose malfunctioning systems and determine root causes using test equipment.
• Inspect and perform daily maintenance on shop machinery, HVAC, PLC networks, and cranes.
• Collaborate with mechanical and production teams to support equipment performance.
• Maintain records of work performed and materials used.
• Provide technical assistance to maintenance and production personnel as needed.
• Work safely by following safety rules and wearing PPE at all times.
