Job summary

CMC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service and repair heavy industrial equipment across our facilities. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, including cranes, shears, and motors.

Strong troubleshooting skills and safety discipline are essential. Expect to train on site, work with a skilled team, and participate in ongoing safety programs while supporting production uptime and equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years preferably in a heavy industrial environment.
• Must be able to read technical documents and service manuals.
• Knowledge with servicing and repairing industrial equipment.
• Able to work outside under all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Attend training regarding applicable equipment.
• Effectively monitor and inspect equipment for defects.
• Maintain and repair shop machinery and mechanical equipment such as overhead cranes, shears, benders, threaders, forges, induction heaters, and welders.
• Mentor and train other maintenance team members.
• Participate in CMC Safety Programs and uphold safety culture.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and document activities.
