IFP Motion Solutions Inc. in Cedar Rapids, IA, seeks an Account Manager to develop and sustain value-based partnerships with industrial clients.

You will leverage technical knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, automation, and electronics to recommend components and systems that meet customer needs. You will travel about two- thirds of the time to visit customers, coordinate with Inside Sales, Engineering and Purchasing, and expand into new markets while delivering exceptional service and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Industrial sales experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication with team, suppliers and customers.
• Ability to analyze market trends and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain value-based customer relationships daily.
• Assist customers in choosing components, services, or systems from IFP Motion Solutions Inc.
• Coordinate customer needs with Inside Sales, Engineering and Purchasing.
• Leverage partner resources and provide technical support for seamless client experiences.
• Advise on product selection and system integration using hydraulics, pneumatics, automation and electronics.
• Use a CRM to manage and track sales opportunities.
• Expand sales by developing new markets and growth opportunities for the organization.
• Day travel around 66% visiting customers; occasional overnight travel for tradeshows and training.
