You will build value-based relationships, advise customers on components, services, or systems, and coordinate with Inside Sales, Engineering, and Purchasing to deliver solutions. You will travel ~66% to visit customers, with 5–10% overnight travel for trade shows and training, leveraging hydraulics, pneumatics, automation, and electronics expertise

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics mindset.
• Bachelor’s or technical Associate’s degree preferred but not required; relevant industrial sales experience helpful.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team, suppliers, and customers.
• Ability to analyze market trends and develop sales growth strategies.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and driven Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a mix of technical expertise, strong interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and a customer-centric approach to drive sales success and cultivate long-term client partnerships in the industrial field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain value-based customer relationships daily.
• Assist customers in choosing the best components, services, or systems from IFP Motion Solutions Inc.
• Coordinate customer needs regularly with Inside Sales, Engineering, and Purchasing
• Utilize external partner-supplier resources and work closely with internal departments for technical support, to ensure seamless client experiences, and to coordinate solutions that meet the client’s needs.
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, automation, and electronics to advise clients on product selection, system integration, and customized solutions that align with their specific requirements.
• Use a CRM to manage and track sales opportunities through various stages of the sales pipeline.
• Actively participate in internal meetings to gain or share knowledge that will benefit customers.
• Expand sales by developing new markets, establishing connections with potential clients, and identifying growth opportunities for the organization.
• Day-Travel will be around 66% visiting customers. 5-10% occasional overnight travel for tradeshows and training.

Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics mindset.
• A Bachelor’s or technical Associate’s degree is preferred but not required. Relevant experience in industrial sales would also be a valuable asset.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with our team, suppliers, and customers.
• Ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities and develop strategies to drive sales growth.
