Job summary

Reworld is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to perform mechanical repair and preventive maintenance on plant equipment, including pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, and rotating machinery. The role involves welding, alignment checks, and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with a team on projects, read blueprints, use measuring tools, and support plant operations with extended hours as needed. A high school diploma and welding certification are required.

Qualifications

• Requires at least five years of repair/maintenance experience on mechanical equipment.
• Formal technical or apprenticeship training is preferred.
• Welding certification to work on pressure parts is required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain rotating machinery and equipment.
• Check and adjust gear alignments, bearings, and mounts.
• Fabricate and weld platforms, chutes, and piping to standards.
• Perform preventative maintenance, vibration testing, thermography, and ultrasonic testing.
• Read technical manuals and interpret measuring tools.
