Job summary

Reworld seeks a dedicated maintenance technician to service a power plant, performing mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting rotating equipment, pumps, conveyors and stoker systems. The role includes welding, piping installation, and supporting plant improvement projects.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, 5+ years’ experience, and welding certification (SMAW/TIG/MIG). Overtime and rotating on-call duties are required.

Qualifications

• Blueprint reading experience is required.
• Welding scopes to include SMAW, TIG and MIG; boiler code repairs eligibility.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain rotating machinery (pumps, fans, motors).
• Repair industrial fans including coupling, bearing, and motor replacements.
• Maintain belt and screw conveyors, air compressors, boilers, pumps, turbines, and water treatment equipment.
• Certify weld repairs on pressure parts under R-Stamp.
• Fabrication and structural welding tasks.
• Perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
• Support boiler shutdowns and equipment outages.
• Install and repair industrial piping.
