Job summary

Reworld Waste, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic and Welder to support the power generation plant’s operation. The role covers mechanical maintenance on rotation machinery, boilers, cranes, piping systems, and structural supports, with welding and repair work as needed.

Responsibilities include inspecting and lubricating equipment, dismantling and overhauling components, and planning jobs using drawings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years’ experience.
• Current valid driver’s license required.
• Experience with boilers, cranes, soot blowers, motors, turbines, condensers, and conveyors.
• Welding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical repairs, PMs, and fabrication including pipefitting, rigging, and assembly of plant equipment.
• Dismantle, overhauls, reassemble, and adjust turbines, generators, boilers, pumps, valves, and auxiliary equipment.
• Inspect and lubricate plant equipment and adjust for efficiency.
• Perform heavy lifting and rigging; welding for repairs and piping work.
• Plan job details using sketches, blueprints, and drawings.
