Job summary

Reworld Projects, LLC in Massachusetts is seeking a skilled mechanical maintenance technician to perform inspection, maintenance and repair work on rotating machinery and equipment across the plant. You will inspect alignment, balance, level, and condition of conveyors, pumps, turbines, gear reducers and related systems, and assist in plant projects.

The role requires five years of experience, welding certification for pressure parts, and ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• Five years’ experience in repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
• Certified to weld on pressure parts.
• Able to read blueprints and welding procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain rotating machinery and equipment.
• Inspect and adjust mechanical alignment, balance, level and condition of conveyors, pumps, turbines, and other rotating equipment.
• Fabricate and weld platforms, chutes and non‑pressure vessel components.
• Perform preventative maintenance incl. vibration testing, thermography and ultrasonic testing.
• Read measuring tools and technical manuals and follow safety procedures.
