Job summary

Rocky Mountain Steel Mills is seeking skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technicians to support maintenance activities in our steel manufacturing facilities. This role is designed for individuals who have completed an apprenticeship or equivalent training in Boilermaker, Millwright, Pipefitter, or Welder, and who are committed to becoming skilled in all four crafts.

Positions include Trainee, Assistant, and Standard levels.

Qualifications

• Completed an apprenticeship or equivalent training in one of four crafts: Boilermaker, Millwright, Pipefitter or Welder.
• 1-3 years of experience in heavy industry or manufacturing preferred.
• Must be physically able to perform duties and pass safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical maintenance including preventative, predictive, installation, repair, and dismantling of equipment.
• Attend and complete training to become skilled in all four crafts.
• Operate overhead cranes and use related tools and safety equipment.
