United States Steel is seeking a Maintenance Technician Mechanical to join our heavy industrial plant. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a broad range of mechanical systems and equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication, and power transmission systems, conveyors, cranes, and mobile equipment.

Join a safety‑driven team and perform work at heights or in confined spaces as needed.

Formación

• 1 year manufacturing/industrial experience or equivalent education.
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication, power transmission, welding, pipefitting, or diesel mechanic.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsabilidades

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair a broad range of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Operate and support hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication, and power transmission systems.
• Work at heights or in confined spaces and on rotating shifts as required.
