Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a skilled Equipment & Facility Maintenance Technician to service industrial equipment across multiple locations in Freedom, PA. You will install, troubleshoot, and maintain large-capacity washers, dryers, conveyors, boilers, and pneumatic and hydraulic systems in accordance with blueprints and engineering specs.

The role requires hands-on welding experience (MIG/TIG/ARC), basic electrical and mechanical skills, and a safety-first attitude.

Qualifications

Minimum 6 months' experience repairing industrial processing equipment.
High school diploma or GED required.
Valid driver's license with safe driving record.
Ability to read blueprints and maintenance literature in English.
Welding experience (MIG/TIG/ARC, cutting, brazing) preferred; Lockout/Tagout experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Install machinery and components following blueprints, schematics, and manufacturer instructions.
Maintain mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to ensure safe operation.
Travel to multiple company locations to perform maintenance.
Perform Lockout/Tagout and safety procedures as required.
Welding activities including MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting and brazing.
Provide maintenance information to partners and follow engineering specs.
