Job summary

UniFirst seeks a dedicated Equipment Maintenance Technician to service industrial equipment across multiple locations in Pennsylvania. You will work with large-capacity washers/dryers, boilers, conveyors, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems, reading blueprints and following safety procedures.

Travel to different sites is required; welding (MIG/TIG/ARC) and common hand/tools use are expected. Required 18+, high school diploma or GED, and experience reading English maintenance literature.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' experience repairing industrial processing equipment.
• Must read English maintenance literature and manuals.
• Lockout/Tagout experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems per blueprints and specs.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment at multiple locations.
• Follow safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout and confined-space protocols.
• Travel to company locations to perform maintenance and welding tasks.
