Job summary

MasTec Clean Energy & Infrastructure is seeking personnel for installation, removal, and modification of heavy industrial machinery and equipment on a Rapid City project site. The role emphasizes safety, precise measurement, and coordination with foremen and crews to execute tasks across multiple trades.

The position requires reading drawings, using hand and power tools, and potentially long shifts with travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Be knowledgeable of MIC Health and Safety programs and project specific regulations
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules and manuals
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and measurements

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret measuring tools to perform tasks accurately
• Understand Plant North and drawing coordinates
• Assist in moving machinery and equipment
• Assemble and install equipment using hand/power tools
• Assist in constructing foundations for machinery and equipment
• Support project with other tasks as directed by supervision
