Job summary

hth companies is seeking a Millwright to repair, install, and maintain industrial equipment across the Midwest. You will work on pumps, compressors, gearboxes, conveyors, piping, and valves, reading complex instructions and blueprints, and adapting to varied conditions on site.

You will use hand and power tools, welding equipment, and alignment devices, performing tests and preventive maintenance while ensuring OSHA safety standards are met and efficient operation is sustained.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
• Thorough understanding of safety practices and procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in varied conditions and environments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper operation of large industrial equipment including generators and turbines.
• Assemble, install, align, and adjust piping, valves, pumps, and equipment using hand/power tools.
• Dismantle existing equipment and gather parts for repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair machines and conduct tests to ensure specs.
• Perform preventive maintenance and document safety logs and inspections.
• Plan and facilitate installation of new or refurbished machinery.
• Assist with jobsite safety and OSHA compliance.
