Job summary

MasTec Industrial is seeking an experienced technician to install, remove, and modify heavy industrial machinery and equipment. You will assist in assembly, alignment, and foundations while adhering to safety and quality standards.

The role requires 3-4 years of related experience, ability to work long shifts, and safety-consciousness on job sites. Competitive compensation for a high‑volume construction environment is provided along with company benefits.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Be knowledgeable of MIC Health and Safety programs and project specific regulations
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
• Ability to work within precise standards of accuracy and follow set procedures and standards

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret measuring tools such as tape measure, speed square, framing square to perform tasks accurately
• Assist in moving machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks
• Assist in assembling and installing various equipment and machinery
• Assist in constructing foundations for machinery and equipment
• Assist in motor and equipment alignment using various methods and tools
• Work with safety rules and wear PPE as required
• Communicate with Foreman regarding problems, materials, or hazards
