Job summary

UniFirst in Cranberry Township, PA is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot and maintain industrial equipment including washers, conveyors, boilers, and pneumatic systems. You will follow blueprints, schematics and manufacturer instructions to ensure reliable operation.

The role requires reading maintenance literature in English, using hand and power tools, performing Lockout/Tagout and Confined Space procedures, and occasional welding (MIG/TIG/ARC).

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months’ experience repairing industrial processing equipment.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to read blueprints and schematics.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• Lockout/Tagout experience preferred.
• Welding experience: MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, brazing.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot industrial equipment and systems.
• Perform maintenance in accordance with safety policies.
• Travel to multiple company locations to perform tasks.
• Read and follow blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
• Perform welding and brazing as needed.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
