Job summary

Thyssenkrupp Materials NA is seeking a Material Handler to work on the warehouse floor, operating heavy equipment and ensuring safe, accurate processing of materials per work orders.

You will identify, tag, inspect, and move materials, assist in lean and quality activities, and train others when required. Shifts include 1st, 2nd and 3rd; must lift up to 40 lbs and have a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read and write.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Basic math skills.
• Safety-minded.

Responsibilities

• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment.
• Pull, inspect and verify product before processing.
• Set up equipment and run material to specifications.
• Enter/delete material identification tags per instructions.
• Assist in lean and quality initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse floor.
• Train others when required.
