Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials Services seeks a qualified Material Handler to process metal per work orders on the warehouse floor, near heavy machinery. You will ensure a safe, clean processing area, record measurements, and handle material tags per instructions.

Responsibilities include operating cranes and forklifts, performing setup per specifications, maintaining equipment, and assisting with lean/quality activities. A high school diploma or GED and ability to lift 40 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and ability to read/write.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Basic math skills and safety mindset required.
• Preferred: prior warehouse experience in metals and forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Apply metal to customer orders and accurately process material per work orders.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment.
• Inspect and verify product before processing; set up equipment per specifications.
• Enter and record measurements, tags, and notes as instructed.
• Maintain a safe, clean processing area and perform preventive maintenance.
