Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials NA, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler for 1st shift to load, inspect, and process metal according to work orders. You will operate cranes and forklifts, set up equipment per specs, measure results, and maintain a clean, safe work area on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery.

Responsibilities include confirming order details, recording measurements, and assisting with packaging. Lean/quality activities and safety training are part of the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and write; basic math skills.
• Able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Safety minded with a focus on safe operation of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Apply metal to orders and process materials per work orders.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment.
• Set up equipment to run material per specs and verify measurements.
• Enter and delete material IDs per instructions and inspect products.
• Assist in packaging and maintain equipment and area cleanliness.
• Provide feedback on machine efficiency and quality.
