Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials Services is seeking a Material Handler on our Kansas site. You will apply metal to orders, process material per work orders, and maintain safe, clean equipment and work area on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery.

Responsibilities include setup verification, measurement recording, and lean/quality activities support. This role requires forklift experience and basic math, with a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and write.
• Able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Basic math skills required.
• Commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Apply metal to customer orders and accurately process material per work order specifications.
• Operate cranes, forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
• Inspect and verify product before processing and maintain clean, safe work area.
• Enter and record information accurately and ensure proper setup of equipment.
• Identify non-conforming material and communicate changes to sales for clarification.
