Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials Services is seeking a Material Handler to work on the warehouse floor with heavy machinery. You will process materials according to work orders, operate cranes and forklifts, and maintain accurate measurements and labeling as part of daily tasks.

A safety-first approach is required to keep work areas compliant and productive. Responsibilities include setup, inspection, scrap separation, and aiding in packaging, with opportunities to participate in lean and quality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and write.
• Lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Perform basic math.
• Maintain a safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Apply metal to customer orders and process material per work order specifications.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment.
• Set up equipment to run material according to specifications.
• Enter and verify measurement data and scrap segregation.
• Assist in packaging and maintaining inspection records.
• Maintain clean, safe processing areas and participate in lean/quality activities.
