Maintenance Manager

Salary: $90,000-$110,000

Company: Trulite is GROWING! We are looking for a Maintenance Manager based at our Dallas, NC location. The Maintenance Manager is responsible for maintaining plant manufacturing operations with a team of maintenance mechanics/technicians. The focus is on safe, efficient, reliable maintenance and operation of equipment to ensure the production of quality products and machine uptime. The person filling this position must be adaptable to changing business environments, departmental needs, and capable of effective inter-departmental, general business, and customer communication while maintaining confidentiality. This is a hands-on Maintenance Manager role, not a desk-based position.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Advising management on developments affecting profit, schedule, costs, and departmental relations.
• Coordinating activities of workers engaged in mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance.
• Collaborating with contractors on installation, servicing, and repair of equipment, and assisting in startup of new plants or additions.
• Reviewing inspection and repair reports, observing work progress, and evaluating efficiency and quality.
• Performing preventative and predictive maintenance on machinery.
• Communicating with operators from other shifts.
• Supervising the Maintenance department.
• Resolving operational problems and developing new techniques, technologies, or concepts.
• Providing direction on company policies and safety regulations.
• Planning and executing preventative maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability.
• Troubleshooting Electronic PLCs and equipment.
• Serving as a key resource for safety issues, ensuring OSHA compliance.
• Managing purchasing, vendor relations, and building/maintaining CMMS systems.
• Having pneumatic/hydraulics, welding, fabricating, machine tool, and electrical experience (including 480V).
• Managing rebuilds and installations, leading continuous improvement efforts using lean principles, sourcing parts, and updating older equipment.
• Providing leadership, coaching, and direction to maintenance staff.
• Contributing to capital project planning and execution.

Skills You Bring:

• Minimum 5 years manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Minimum 5 years management experience.
• Preferred forklift/overhead lift certifications.
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
