Job description

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Manager to join their team. This opportunity is with a 47-year-old privately held business. They are extremely busy and growing. Our client would like to hire someone to continue to improve on a successful department. Much of the existing equipment has been completely rebuilt and many new pieces of equipment have been added over the last 4 years. They consider themselves lucky to have tenured maintenance technicians.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise a team of up to 16 Maintenance Technicians, a Maintenance Planner, and a Parts Buyer.
2. Plan scheduled maintenance shutdowns.
3. Collaborate with Production to improve processes.
4. Ensure PMs are completed properly and on time.
5. Continue to develop the CMMS system with new PMs and conduct mean time between failure analysis.
6. Improve spare parts storage.
7. Organize contractors for projects.

Qualifications:

1. Degree in engineering or industrial maintenance.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance leadership position.
3. Technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
4. Experience with drives, PLCs, and HMIs.
