Industrial Manufacturing Maintenance Manager

Position Overview

This role is based at our Dallas, NC location. The Maintenance Manager is responsible for maintaining plant manufacturing operations with a team of maintenance mechanics/technicians. Focus on safe, efficient, reliable maintenance and operation of equipment to ensure the production of quality products and machine uptime. This is a hands-on role, requiring active floor presence and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise management on developments affecting profit, schedule, costs, and departmental relations.
• Supervise mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with contractors for equipment installation, servicing, and repairs.
• Review inspection and repair reports; oversee major overhauls.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance.
• Communicate with operators across shifts.
• Oversee the Maintenance department.
• Resolve operational problems and develop new techniques and solutions.
• Ensure safety policies and regulations are followed.
• Plan and execute preventative maintenance programs.
• Improve equipment reliability and troubleshoot electronic PLCs.
• Manage safety issues and meet OSHA requirements.
• Handle purchasing, vendor relations, and CMMS systems.
• Manage rebuilds and installations; have pneumatic/hydraulics, welding, fabricating, and electrical skills.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean principles.
• Source parts and update older equipment.
• Contribute to capital project planning.
