Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment across conveyors, pumps and gearboxes. You will troubleshoot mechanical issues, fabricate components and install equipment per engineering drawings.

Qualified candidates have 3+ years in industrial maintenance, read drawings, and follow safety procedures. The role requires safe operation of forklifts and related equipment within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3+ years in industrial maintenance or millwright workpreferred.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, schematics and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment including conveyors, pumps, crushers, dryers and gearboxes.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical systems to minimize downtime and boost reliability.
• Fabricate, weld, cut, and assemble mechanical components or replacement parts.
• Install, align, and move equipment per specs and drawings.
• Operate forklifts, man lifts, and service trucks safely when required.
• Document activities and communicate findings to plant management.
• Collaborate with production, electrical and operations teams to complete work efficiently.
• Participate in safety meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
