Job summary

IMMI/APLP is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support operations company-wide by performing machine maintenance, repairs, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will inspect, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, and facility systems to ensure optimal performance, safety, and minimal downtime.

The role requires efficient time management and a high standard of professionalism. Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance to support production across locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance, mechanical, or electrical engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing, industrial, or facilities maintenance.
• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing systems with relevant training or certifications.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, schematics, and equipment diagrams.
• Experience operating and maintaining powered industrial equipment; must pass certification exams.
• OSHA safety training certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire).
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments; welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
• Competence with maintenance software and CMMS platforms; basic computer literacy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to coordinate and document.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks; flexible hours including weekends/on-call.
• Commitment to comply with safety and corporate standards.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and prioritize maintenance tasks for timely completion and preventive measures.
• Communicate maintenance status to supervisors, especially if impacting production or safety.
• Perform general maintenance and installation of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, water, air, plumbing, and IT utility systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment to ensure compliance with IMMI standards and regulations.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose malfunctions; repair or replace faulty parts using appropriate tools.
• Maintain maintenance records and work orders in CMMS.
• Support installation, calibration, and testing of new equipment with engineering and production teams.
• Plan and execute maintenance activities with minimal disruption to manufacturing.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and EHS policies.
• Identify improvements to equipment, tools, and maintenance processes for reliability.
