Job summary

IMMI is seeking a Maintenance Technician in High Point, NC to maintain and repair manufacturing equipment, oversee preventive tasks, and support continuous improvement initiatives. You will inspect machinery, diagnose issues, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards across locations.

The role requires hands-on experience with electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic systems, CMMS proficiency, and the ability to coordinate with engineering and production teams to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years in manufacturing, industrial, or facilities maintenance.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and prioritize maintenance tasks to ensure timely completion and reduce downtime.
• Communicate maintenance status to supervisors and production teams.
• Perform general maintenance and installation of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, water, air, plumbing, and IT utility systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment to meet IMMI standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose malfunctions and replace faulty parts using hand/power tools.
• Maintain CMMS records and work orders.
• Support installation, calibration, and testing of new equipment with engineering/production.
• Plan maintenance activities with minimal disruption to schedules.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and EHS policies.
• Identify improvements to equipment and maintenance processes.
