Advanced Technology Services (ATS) seeks a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician for our Newark, NJ site. You will perform break-fix and preventative maintenance, diagnose root causes, and maintain equipment performance on the factory floor.

You will use hand tools and precision equipment, conduct machining setup where needed, and keep CMMS records up to date while adhering to 5S and safety policies. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Associate degree with a technical focus and 3 years of related experience, or 5 years of related experience in general industry.
• Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems; can analyze problems and perform repairs.
• Able to use basic and specialized hand tools.
• May be required to travel.

Responsabilités

• Perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance; diagnose root causes.
• Identify and source parts, supplies and repair items as necessary.
• Independently perform maintenance per industry standards.
• Set up and operate machining operations (lathe, drill press, grinder); may perform welding.
• Comply with 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Drive and participate in CI activities; review CMMS history.
• Troubleshoot control systems; analyze electrical and mechanical issues.
• Utilize predictive maintenance technologies to collect data.
• Assist lower level technicians and lead small teams; pursue career development.
