Job summary

ATS in New Jersey is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance in a factory setting. You will identify parts, operate machining tools, and assist with welding as needed, all while upholding 5S and safety standards.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting control systems, updating CMMS records, and supporting junior technicians. Travel may be required in some roles, with a focus on reliability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Associates degree with a technical focus or 5 years of related experience.
• Understanding electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems.
• Able to use basic and specialized tools as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance.
• Identify and source parts, supplies and repair items as necessary.
• Set up and operate multiple machining operations and welding tasks as needed.
• Maintain 5S and housekeeping standards and contribute to CI activities.
• Update CMMS records and review history.
• Troubleshoot control systems to resolve software/hardware issues.
