Job summary

Advanced Technology Services in Newark, NJ seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform expert break-fix and preventative maintenance across plant equipment. You will identify parts, source repairs, and support CI initiatives while training junior staff.

Travel may be required based on site needs. Applicants should have a technical degree or equivalent experience, strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical and fluid power systems, and proficiency with hand and specialized tools.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Technical Associate degree with 5+ years in industry, or 7+ years experience.
• Experience with predictive technologies and precision alignments.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems.
• Ability to use basic and specialized tools.
• Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance.
• Identify and source parts; evaluate alternatives for cost/reliability.
• Lead CI activities and participate in training.
• Operate machining tasks and welding as needed.
• Follow 5S and safety policies.
