Job summary

MSI Express, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment in accordance with electrical diagrams and manuals. You will document work using CMMS, perform preventive maintenance, and support safety and food quality standards.

The role requires ability to read diagrams, operate hand and power tools, and work in a manufacturing environment with GMP compliance. Training junior staff and handling electrical/PLC systems are also included.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals and maintenance procedures
• 2+ years industrial maintenance experience preferably in food manufacturing
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly; up to 100 pounds intermittently
• Proficient in using hand and power tools and shop equipment
• Follows safety and GMP practices and documents work in CMMS

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections of drives, belts, and equipment
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical systems including PLCs and controls
• Repair and rebuild gearboxes, clutches and other assemblies
• Document work orders, parts requests, and reports using CMMS
• Train junior technicians and operators on equipment use and maintenance
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and food safety/quality requirements
