Job summary

MSI Express, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment per electrical diagrams and manufacturer specifications. You will document work orders in CMMS via mobile devices and ensure compliance with safety and GMPs.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in industrial settings (food manufacturing preferred) and a High School diploma. Welding and PLC experience are a plus for this hands-on role.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance manuals.
• Minimum of High School Diploma; 2+ years in an industrial setting; food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance such as inspecting drives, belts, fluid levels, and replacing filters.
• Documents work performed in CMMS using a mobile device.
• Troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains motors, pneumatics, PLCs, touch screens, and conveyors.
• Welds metal using MIG, TIG, and Arc welding techniques for repairs and fabrication.
• Reads blueprints and repair manuals to source parts and perform teardown/rebuilds as needed.
• Maintains safety and Good Manufacturing Practices; ensures equipment cleanliness and readiness.
