Job summary

MSI Express, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment per diagrams, manuals, and manufacturer specs. You will document work orders in a CMMS and ensure safety and GMP compliance across production lines.

The role requires hands-on experience with motors, PLCs, pneumatics, belts, and conveyors, plus capability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds with assistance. Join our team in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

Minimum of high school diploma; 2 years industrial experience, preferably in food manufacturing.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance manuals.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly; up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Experience with electrical controls; PLC troubleshooting preferred.
Experience with metal fabrication and welding preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs routine maintenance and preventive maintenance on drives, belts, fluids, and filters.
Troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains mechanical and electrical equipment including PLCs and conveyors.
Documents work orders using a CMMS on a mobile device.
Inspects electrical systems from 5VDC to 480 VAC and related control circuits.
Teardown and rebuilds gearboxes, clutches, actuators; fabricates parts as needed.
Follows safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Reports damaged or worn parts and maintains machine cleanliness.
